Nongjuji 農具記

Nongjuji 農具記 is a book on farming implements written during the early Qing period 清 (1644-1911) by Chen Yuqi 陳玉璂 (b. 1636, jinshi degree 1667), courtesy name Gengming 賡明, style Jiaofeng 椒峰, from Wujin 武進, Jiangsu. His collected writings are called Xuewentang ji 學文堂集.

The short book is arranged according to the particular use of the tools, instruments and implements described. It begins with yokes and other implements applied to draft animals, and then goes on to ploughs, hoes, rakes, etc., irrigation tools, implements of storage, sowing, harvest, threshing and measuring. The text mainly relies on traditional books on agriculture, but enriches these statements by comments of their own.

The text is found in the series Tangji congshu 檀幾叢書 and Changzhou xianzhe yishu 常州先哲遺書.
