Anchulu 安楚錄 "The pacification of Chu (Hunan)" is a book on local war written by the Ming-period 明 (1368-1644) master Qin Jin 秦金, courtesy name Guosheng 國聲, from Wuxi 無錫, Jiangsu. He obtained his jinshi degree in 1493 and was Minister of War (bingbu shangshu 兵部尚書) in Nanjing. His posthumous title is Duanmin 端敏.
The 10-juan long book was written based on Qin's own experience as vice provincial censor (fudu yushi xunfu 副都御史巡撫) in Hunan, a function in which he suppressed rebellions of Yao tribes 猺. The book in not a narrative, but consists of a collection of documents, from imperial edicts (1 Chiyu 敕諭) and memorials to the throne (2-3 Zoushu 奏疏), military proclamations (4-5 Xiwen 檄文) and poems (6-9 Tizeng shiwen 題贈詩文). The last fascicle (10 Fengqiu yishi 封邱遺事) is a report of a local shrine in Henan dedicated to the commemoration of Qin Jin and his fight against local bandits. It also includes a small collection of poems (Tiancheng ji 天成集) praising Qin.
